Learn something new…

Most people as they get older get stuck in their ways. They truly believe they have heard it all before, they have seen it all before and the way they are doing things is the best and the only way to do things. This is one sign of getting old.

One way to overcome this sad sickness is to learn something new. Learn something you never thought you could do. Some people try to learn something new every day.

This helps you in a lot of ways:

1. Learning helps you to admit that you don’t know everything.
2. It helps you to humble yourself to another person.
3. It helps your brain to keep active.
4. It introduces you to a new circle of people.

I am currently trying to learn more about Internet marketing. I am hoping to learn Spanish real soon. And I am trying to finish my master’s thesis. I always try to understand different forms of music and different political perspectives.

Here’s to your learning…

Cleaning the house…

It has surprised me how hard it is to keep my house clean. Clutter and dirt seem to accumulate everywhere no matter what I do. I have to work several hours a month just to keep the clutter from piling up.

I think it may be true also that clutter seems to pile up in my personality. There are things that I need to do to keep the anger and emotional baggage out of my life. And I think it takes several hours a month to do this. If you are like me you may be ignoring these issues and it is time to deal with some of them.

Are there people you are angry with that you need to find a way to deal with? I am currently having trouble with socialists who want to put down our country.

Are there situations you need to resolve?

Is there a project you need to finish or abandon?

Is there an anger that flairs up at times that you need to understand where it comes from?

Do you have unfinished business with your money, past, childhood, religion?

I have got to hurry up and solve these items the yard needs mowing.

Quote of the Day
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines, Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream.
--Mark Twain, [Samuel Langhornne Clemens] (1835-1910)
