Dreams do come true

Jim Carrey…

While living in a 2-bedroom apartment with no money, Jim Carrey dreamed of the day he would earn millions of dollars as a comedian. He went so far as to write himself a $10,000,000 check. This became his goal or dream. After 4 years of hard hard work he received his first check for $10,000,000. He has gone on to cash many such checks.

This sounds like an easy success story. But most people will overlook some very obvious steps that Jim and all dreamers follow…

1. Have a definite dream.
2. Make sure the dream is measurable.
3. Make sure the dream you are following is what you were meant to do.
4. Work like a dog. 10 – 12 hours a day is normal.
5. Use the talent God has given you…

Writing a fake check does not make you a millionaire, but dreams do come true. It is finding the mechanism that will work for you that is the trick.

Homeboy Industries….

Father Gregory Boyle is a priest in downtown LA. He has a slogan that says, “Nothing stops a bullet like a job.” He has organized former gang members into owning and running inner city businesses…

Tattoo removal
Screen-printing
tee shirts
Job training
Counseling
A bakery
A café

And he is making a difference. These young men are working, staying off drugs, building up equity in their businesses and staying out of prison.

In our country we have the ability to produce answers for the problems we face.

See it was possible

Her grandfather was a slave. Owned by another person. This week she moved into a quarter of a million dollar 5 bedroom, 2 ½ bath with a 2 car garage brick home. She stood with tears in her eyes as she thanked me for helping her dream and accomplish this dream. “It was a dream I never thought was possible! You helped me see it was possible.”

Can you imagine moving from slavery to a quarter of a million dollar home in 2 generations? Dreams do come true.

  1. Get a dream book.
  2. Get a picture of your dream.
  3. Write down a plan of action to accomplish that dream
  4. Write down 3 affirmations for your dreams… I am… I see… I feel…

You will be amazed at what can happen.
