The destiny of an alligator?

Can you tell me the destiny of an alligator? Can you tell me the destiny of an ant? Well animals live by instinct. However, we as humans are the only ones free to understand our destiny and to choose to follow it or not.

I believe that some people are chosen by God at birth to follow certain paths in life and it becomes very clear to them and the world. People like Martin Luther King, Jr. and Mahatma Ghandi. And yet for some people, destiny is not as clear and we are allowed to choose our destiny.

Don't let this opportunity escape from you. Follow the dreams you have inside of you. It is an extremely rare opportunity.

"Man is man because he is free to operate within the framework of his destiny."

There is a reason

There is a reason God has placed you here on earth. If you are not you, who else will be you? The answer is no one. There are things you can do, people you can touch and things you can achieve that no one else can do. When you find the reason God has placed you here on earth, you will be more and more fulfilled and live much more happy.

Here are some questions to help:

1. What do you enjoy doing more than anything?
2. Who are the people you can reach that no one else can reach?
3. What are you the best in the world at?

Who taught you to read? Who taught you to do math? Aren't you glad they did? Go and do likewise..

Lives based on the circumstances

Too many of us are living our lives based on the circumstances that have come our way rather than choosing the circumstances we want in our lives. I have encouraged people for years to design a life rather than existing in one that happens to hit us. You can go out and make the life you want. It may take a while but you can do it! Here are some questions that will spur your thinking...

1. What would be the perfect job for you?
2. Where would be the perfect place for you to live?
3. What type of cash flow would you like to have?
4. What type of education would you like to have?
5. What would you like to do to make a difference in this world?

Nothing is lost forever

"Nothing is lost forever. Trying keeps the hope alive."
- Takeshi Kaneshiro

Every time you pursue a dream you will come to a time when it appears that your dream will not come true. You will run into a problem, you will be rejected or you will get discouraged. But if you keep trying, it is amazing what can happen. Nothing is lost forever.

I can tell you 200 stories of people who thought it was all over and kept trying and their dreams have come true. And I bet you can think of some stories in your own life. Why not jot down one of those stories and use it in your work in the next 2 days.

Remember the old adage, "It is always darkest right before the dawn."

The key to my success has been to give up everything for my dream. -- John Johnson
