Become like the people you hang around
Mark Twain once said…
“Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. The really great people make you feel that you, too, are great.”
It is a fact – you become like the people you hang around. If you hang around people who belittle others you yourself will fall into that habit. Hanging around such people will also do harm to your self-esteem.
The really great people will always build you up. And this is the trait you and I can cultivate. It is also very good for us to hang around great people who build us up.
Take a clear inventory. Who among your friends builds you up and who tears you down?
What kind of friend are you?
Take care of your friends and they will take care of you.
